Wedding Reception Venue
If you are planning a wedding in Cheshire and you are looking for the perfect venue for your wedding reception. We invite you to come along and take a look at the idyllic Lach Dennis Village Hall. Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, it is the perfect venue for your big day.
Firstly, we have amazing facilities at the Village Hall that you will be able to use. This includes a fully licensed bar. Furthermore, our lawned garden is perfect for wedding photographs and a Summer BBQ.
Lach Dennis Village Hall is set in the small quaint Cheshire village of Lach Dennis. It is surrounded by farms and fields.
There are two halls contained within the building. The Main Hall which is the largest room has a seating capacity for up to 150 guests. This hall has a sprung wooden dance floor, stage area with lighting and sound system, plus a fully licensed bar facility.
The Small Hall has a seating capacity for up to 70 guests. This hall opens out onto our private lawned garden which is perfect for summer wedding receptions. There are outside tables and benches plus a large barrel BBQ. The lawned garden area at the rear of the hall overlooks the wide open fields. If you wish to use this area we offer a marquee with a capacity for 60 guests.
Furthermore, we have an excellent kitchen which is located between the two halls. It is fully fitted out with an oven, fridge, microwave, plus crockery and cutlery for 120 guests. Both halls come complete with tables and chairs to accommodate your guests.
We also have a fully modernised licensed bar which is located in the Main Hall. Part of our booking process is to provide you with a list of all beverages stocked behind the bar including draft beers and wines. We can purchase champagne, special wines, alcohol free drinks exactly to your requirements to make sure that your day is special. The cost for any additional beverages purchased will be agreed in advance. We offer a 10% discount if you order more than 10 bottles of wine or champagne.
The Lach Dennis Village Hall has just been completely redecorated internally, and it also boosts completely refurbished toilet facilities to a high standard. Both halls are fully centrally heated.
If you plan to hold an evening event our hall is well lit with lights as you drive into the vast off-road carpark. The front elevation of the hall is also illuminated. Plus we have lights to illuminate the disabled ramp and steps up to the Main Entrance. We have excellent off-road car parking for 38 cars as well as designated disabled parking both at the front of the hall and also at the rear of the facility. Most importantly, we offer full disabled access to the hall for wheelchair users at the front entrance and also at the rear entrance to the hall.
Booking Process
We understand that planning a wedding reception can be quite daunting, however we are here to help you. You can always contact us throughout the planning stage and we will offer free advice and provide you with local contact details for companies that can help you make your special day even more memorable.
We believe in being upfront with you about the hiring details including the pricing and booking process for our Village Hall. Initially we request a £100.00 deposit to hold off your date in our booking calendar. This deposit will be deducted from your final Invoice, however it is non-refundable if you decide to cancel your reception, this is to cover our cancellation costs. Final payment is due 2 months prior to the date of your event. Full details will be provided to you in our Terms and Conditions.
Therefore, if your dream wedding reception is small and intimate for 50 guests, or if you plan to have a large wedding for up to 220 guests, we are sure that you will love our Village Hall.

FIND THE PERFECT PACKAGE FOR YOUR SPECIAL DAY
The Crystal Package £500
The Crystal Package provides you with full use of both halls together with our fully staffed licensed bar.
We offer full access to the hall from 6pm on the day before your wedding reception so that you can set up for your special day. This will allow you time to decorate the hall and organise the room setting with the tables and chairs to your personal design.
If you plan to book a DJ or band then they can also gain access to set up in advance. We will also give you full use of the kitchen, therefore allowing you time to layout the place settings and also to store food if required. On the morning of your event you will also be able to take delivery of any fresh flowers and wedding cake.
Once you have booked and paid for your wedding reception the only additional costs will be the bar costs.
Finally, as part of the Crystal Package we will take care of clearing away your entire decorations. We will store the decorations for you so that you can collect them at an agreed time. We will also completely clean the halls and kitchen and put away tables and chairs.
The Gold Package £650
The Gold Package offers everything which is included in the above Crystal Package with the addition of the items listed below.
We will offer access to the hall and gardens from noon the day before your wedding reception. Included in this package you will have full use of the lawned garden area and marquee, picnic tables and benches. If you would like to use the BBQ this can be arranged for you. We will erect the marquee in readiness for you to prepare the day before your event.
If you would like any special cocktails or drinks upon arrival at the Village Hall, this can be arranged for you. We ask that you inform us of your requirements so that we can purchase any special drinks for you and the bar staff can then be ready to serve these to your guests.
